We run a large performance programme, designed to stretch the most committed and able junior players. There are three different strands: Our mini tennis academy; our junior tennis academy; and our junior squads.
Entry into the programme is by invitation-only, and players must fulfil additional criteria depending on which section of the performance programme they are part of.
The Academy training program is personalised and tailored to the characteristics of each player. The programme focusses on each player by creating an innovative customised training programme that will fit their training needs. Our academy programme provides each player with a fun, inspiring and positive environment that at the same time infuses values of hard work, dedication, and self-discipline.
Our goal is not only to create elite tennis players but also to shape our academy players to be great all round people.
In addition to the term time training, we are also run Academy Training Camps during the school holidays. These are intensive 2.5-hour sessions, designed to keep their development on-track during the holidays and to complement tournament play. These training camps are open to all players in the mini green academy, the junior academy and the junior squads.
Mini Tennis Academy
Being part of the Mini Tennis Academy is the first step out of our mainstream programme into higher intensity squads, training twice per week (a total of 3 hours).
Junior Tennis Academy
The Junior Tennis Academy is aimed at players aged 11+ who are committed to their tennis, and are training and competing regularly. Players are offered a bespoke training package up to 6 hours per week and must commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week.
Junior Tennis Squads
Our squads aim to bridge the gap between our mainstream coaching programme and our Junior Tennis Academy. Squads are by invitation-only, based on a player's current standard.
